Vrede & Lust Jess Dry Rosé 2019

What began with a beautiful gesture between father and daughter on her 16th birthday has grown into one of the greatest successes of the Vrede & Lust winery in the last decade. No wonder this magnificent vineyard is located in the picturesque tip of the Simonsberg-Paarl wine region. Vrede & Lust Jess was named after the owner’s eldest daughter, Jessica-Lee, on her sixteenth birthday.

PRODUCTION The grapes were harvested with varying degrees of sugar content, which is typical for the production of rosé wine. The individual components were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks to achieve better properties for final mixing. The juice was processed as for white wine and fermented without contact with sludge and without the effect of malt-milk fermentation.

CHARACTERISTICS The playful pink Jess Rosé has a delicious scent that surpasses only its quality. This wine is light, full of aroma and has a fresh style and fruity taste. Jess smells of fresh strawberries, raspberries and watermelon with hints of flowers and a smooth finish.
