Pumping was performed every four hours up to 10 ° B to ensure optimal extraction of dye and tannins. After fermentation with the skins, pressing was performed and each of the varieties was stored in a specially selected French barrel. The wine matured at once. Twice and three times filled barrels for 18 months, where it underwent apple-milk fermentation. After maturing, it was mixed thoroughly to create this exceptional wine.
Alcohol: 14.78% vol. It goes well with the Italian dish Saltimbocca (veal chop with Parma ham and sage), with a Greek-style stewed pork coat with young zucchini salad. Sustainability: Each bottle of our wines has a South African certification seal. This seal is a guarantee of the origin, vintage and variety that are listed on the vignette.

AWARDS 2018 SA Women’s Wine & Spirits Award Gold Medal
2018 Gold Awards Gold medal
2018 Vitis Vinifera Awards Gold Medal
2018 Old Mutual Awards – bronze medal

Very pleasant aroma of red fruit and slightly smoky aroma. The wine is well balanced and has fine tannins. Nice and full and relatively soft, long surface with fine woody tones.

[187

121
166
146,156,160,164
143
134
180
183
0":"post-1543","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-wines-ports-en","7":"wine_color-red","8":"wine_type-dry","9":"wine_variety-cabernet-sauvignon-en","10":"wine_variety-petit-shiraz-en","11":"wine_variety-pinotage-en","12":"wine_variety-shiraz-en","13":"country_of_origin-south-africa","14":"vineyard-truter-family-wines-en","15":"region-wellington-en","16":"vintage-2017-en","17":"sales-flash-overlay","18":"woocommerce-text-align-left","19":"woocommerce-image-align-left","21":"first","22":"instock","23":"taxable","24":"shipping-taxable","25":"purchasable","26":"product-type-simple
["GET
